It’s also the first dyeing technique developed by our factory.

我が国では特に綿の栽培が全国的に定着した江戸時代に入り、
盛んに染められました。
本藍の染め方法は、「建染」と言われる
還元して酸化させて染める方法が一般的です。
本藍手捺染の染め方法も、
模様染するために植物性の糊を媒体として使用している以外、
これまでの捺染と変わりはありません。
この技巧により藍染の量産を可能にし、
洋服の生産にお使いいただけます。
We developed theTatezome printing method with the Kyoto City Dyeing Test Center. Then we succeeded in making a botanical glue that matches the indigo pigment. Our research on the steaming process could stabilize the indigo color on the fabric. They can express fine lines, creat color gradient and maintain the original fabric color which is white.. These abilityes are unprecedented.
We accept the width up to 35-40cm as small width and 120cm as a wide width for Indigo dyeing.
